CPA Kithinji Kiragu MBS, OGW chair of the IGRTC, offers over three decades of expertise advising African governments and global development partners. Some notable roles he has held include spearheading public sector reforms in Tanzania and Nigeria's Federal Public Service. He boasts a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. A seasoned Certified Public Accountant (Kenya), CPA Kiragu has been instrumental in Kenya's devolution journey, with a focus on enhancing public sector management, service delivery to Kenyans and governance. His consulting career has seen him work with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held a Partner role, the World Bank as well as at the Africa Development Professional Group. CPA Kiragu has also served as Chairman of the State Corporations Advisory Committee (SCAC) in the Office of the President. In the past three years he served as a member of the Board of Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital, and as the Chair of the Board’s Committee for Strategy, Finance & Corporate Services.
